PALS Instructor Course
Pediatric emergencies require specialized knowledge and skills. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is an advanced course, and as an instructor you will prepare your students to confidently and quickly implement appropriate interventions for critically ill or injured children. Your students typically include healthcare professionals (nurses, physicians, paramedics) who regularly manage respiratory and/or cardiovascular emergencies in emergency, intensive and critical care settings. You will provide enriched course content including simulations, state-of-the-art 3-D animations, video scenarios and thought-provoking examples of real pediatric emergency cases, engaging students in robust dialogue and confirming their understanding of the educational material they have received.
The PALS Instructor course is delivered by an Instructor Trainer or Master Instructor who will guide and develop instructor candidates in the key elements of facilitating Heart & Stroke Pediatric Advanced Life Support courses.
